Semiya payasam is
traditional Indian sweet dish specially famous in south india it is simple nad
very testy recipe for all festivals
ingredients to make semiya payasam:
1.semiya-1 cup
2.milk-1 litre
3.sugar-3/4 cup
4.salt- a pinch
5.raisins(kismis)-a
few
6.cashewnuts(split)-
10 nos
7.cardamom(elakka)
powder- a pinch
8.ghee for frying
method to prepare semiya payasam:
1-In a pan add
little ghee and roast
broken semiya and
keep it aside
2-In another
pan,boil the milk
3-Add the semiya
and cook on a low heat for about 7-10 mts
4-Add
suger,crushed cardamom and salt and bring to boil.
5-finally,sprinkle
with fried cashewnuts and raisins and serve
6-To additional
test add some condenced milk also
