aval payasam is
traditional Indian sweet dish specially famous in south india it is simple nad
very testy recipe for all festivals
ingredients to make aval/atukulu payasam:
1.aval/atululu(beaten
rice)-1 cup
2.milk-1/2 litre
3.sugar-1/4 cup
4.raisins(kismis)-a
few
5.cashewnuts(split)-
10 nos
6.cardamom(elakka)
powder- a pinch
7.ghee for frying
method to prepare aval/atukula payasam:
1-In a pan add
little ghee and roast
aval/atukulu and
keep it aside
2-In another
pan,boil the milk
3-Add the aval/atukulu
and cook on a low heat for about 3-4 mts
4-Add
suger,crushed cardamom and bring to boil for 1 min.
5-finally,sprinkle
with fried cashewnuts and raisins thats you testy delicious aval payasam is
ready to serve hot
6-To additional
test add some condenced milk also
